Frank was a stalwart follower of Dacre Banks Cricket Club. His tireless support of the Club often went unnoticed. For many years he worked on the ground and never missed a fundraising event for the Club. Frank was one of life's charming gentlemen who never had a bad word to say about anyone. One always stopped to listen to Franks comments and words as they were said from the heart and were honest and true.
I'll certainly miss his company and his regular attendance at home matches during the season in the company of Eric and others where, no doubt, his comments in discussions about the games he watched would have been great to hear.
We have lost a great friend of the Club and our thoughts and prayers are with Alec, Eric and the Houseman family at this time.
Details of the funeral will be published on the blog as soon as they are known.
