Just had the customary 45 min phone call from our 1st team skipper who is pleased to announce he has provisionally found an Aussie for next season.
He is an opening quick left arm bowler, 20 years of age who plays 1st grade in Adelaide alongside one of Dunc's former overseas from Clifton Alliance Joel Southam and comes highly recommended.
He has also represented his areas U21 rep side for the last 2 seasons.
He's described as tall and athletic with a typical bowlers build and in style he is described as rapid and nasty and likes bowling aggresively at the body.
He is also a handy batsman.
He plans on travelling with his girlfriend and further details will be released as soon as we get them.
I'll look forward to watching him ''bowling aggressively at the body'' against Darley and Helperby on some nice, uneven early season wickets!
