Well Ive heard of some excuses for not playing cricket but new signing Dave Leather has just wheeled out an original one.
Mr Leather, commited Father to be (are you sure its not Cobbers anyway?)has cited the forthcoming home game against Middleham as one he will miss for an antenatal class!
The Mighty Banks have discovered this article,especially for the proud Dad to be, meaning he can read it in detail and then he will know everything required to leave Mrs L to attend on her own.
Thus taking up his rightful place down at the DBCG.
(Apologies to everyone else for this boring article but I find its easier to go to the Pub when the birth is imminent and get incredibly drunk meanwhile missing your wife calling you all the names under the sun as she gives birth!!)
